organization. Folders are uniquely named by the user assigned case number.

DeMultiplex: |
|
|
CrimeVision™’s DeMux is designed to quickly and easily recreate separate video files for each
surveillance camera in a multiplexed video.
DeMux uses a scene detection algorithm to determine which of the camera streams each frame “belongs” to. Files containing up to 16 camera streams may be processed. Each resultant file is uniquely named with a reference to the original and added to the Case Folder automatically.

DeInterlace: |
|
Analog video is interlaced consisting of two fields that make up each video frame. Separating the fields then allows
for both frames to be viewed independently so that information can potentially be gained from each.
CrimeVision™’s DeInterlace splits the video into Odd and Even frames, allowing field based examination of the evidence. Each resultant file is uniquely named with a reference to the original and added to the Case Folder automatically.

DeQuad: |

 A typical style of recording multiple camera streams simultaneously is Quad. CrimeVision™'s DeQuad function recreates individual video files for each of the four simultaneous camera views, allowing the user to isolate action in each stream. CrimeVision™ automatically names each resultant file uniquely with a reference to the original and adds them to the Case Folder.

Built-in video filters allow users to easily perform the most common adjustment functions of a video editor. Quickly adjust
levels, contrast, brightness, hue, midtones, and sharpen edges.
CrimeVision™’s Video Filters dialog eliminates the need to launch a heavy-duty video editing application to do simple tools. Each resultant file is uniquely named with a reference to the original file and added to the Case Folder automatically.

Frame Average: |

Unlike competitors’ tools that claim to “average” frames, CrimeVision™ includes an intuitive Frame
Average function.
Adjacent frames may be averaged to remove blur due to minute motion between frames. Rather than simply overlaying images, CrimeVision™ allows for an area of interest to be selected and then intelligently combines the frames to produce increased clarity in the area of selection. CrimeVision™ also prompts the user to save the resultant file to the Case Folder and automatically suggests a unique file name with a reference to the original.

Field Alignment: |

Motion blur in still images that result from interlacing of the source video can be corrected using Field Alignment.
CrimeVision™ allows the user to make custom adjustments to the scan lines present in the image
to improve the appearance of the image.

Comparative Sizing: |

Determining the height of a person or size of an object can be essential to an investigation. With
CrimeVision™’s sizing tool, you can easily estimate the measurement of objects in the same plane.
Use a known reference object to compare to an unknown object (like a suspect). The image with embedded sizing lines can be saved for further enhancements, printing, etc. CrimeVision™ also prompts the user to save the resultant file to the Case Folder and automatically suggests a unique file name with a reference to the original.
